Quick info: Only Previous tutoring experience is with family, friends and Classmates. I Have always been stronger in math and and science courses, with primarily teaching myself. This allows me to explain hard topics in a less daunting and comprehensive way. I Want to tutor to strengthen my math skills while helping other students strengthen theirs. Also, show students that math is easy to do with the proper instruction guidance and practice. About Me: My name is Joseph Vigil II. I am excited to tutor on a platform with students in need of help. I have plenty of experience in math, chemistry and physics. I greatly enjoy all these subjects and have helped countless classmates understand some of these very difficult subjects. I have access to a lot of tutoring methods and materials, I personally find small group methods are the best way. However, I can work with any number of students. I always review the material before helping any student to ensure that they are getting the most up to date and correct information. I am currently entering my junior year of college with a 3.5 gpa at University of Hawaii at Manoa. Meaning I have been able to help many classmates along the way. In doing so, it only strengthens my skills in tutoring and knowledge of the topic at hand. I love that tutoring not only allows me to help and improve people's understanding in STEM subjects, but allows me to continue sharpening my skill in those subjects. I want to be the best I can possibly be in my Field of study, Civil Engineering. Both my peers and professors have praised me for my hardwork and dedication on accomplishing any goals I set. My next goal is to become a great tutor, enabling students to excel in school and their lives beyond. I will accomplish this at all costs. Hobbies
I like to be anywhere close to water or outdoors. I am also a volunteer wrestling coach at a high school and I did wrestle most of my childhood thru college. I love to learn and and live to love. This is why i give back by coaching and tutoring. It is a gift that keeps giving, especially when the students get the material that I have been helping with or when a wrestler gets a move I have been showing them. So other than school, coaching and trying to tutoring as many people as I can help, I enjoy trying to find engineering projects to take on and develop.
